So I was thinking of a new series of gear based on thoughts on the blessed chalice and it's unique property in that it has an effect for not only when the owner does a specific action, but also the opposing hero. I could see this as being a very popular set of gear.

I see these all as epic gear

2 mana gear
Whenever a creature enters play: A random ally creature gains either +1/0 or +0/1.

2 mana gear
Whenever a light alliance spell card is played; your hero heals 1. Whenever a dark alliance spell card is played, your opposing hero is dealt 1 magic damage.

5 mana gear (With the new 8 gear limit, it probably would be fine set at 5 mana?)
Whenever a gear card is played, copy it and put it under your control.

And for no reason at all, some kingdom based gear.

2 mana gear (Maybe 3 mana)
Whenever an elemental card is played, deal 1 magic damage to a random enemy creature or hero.

2 mana gear
Whenever an undead card is played, a random ally creature gains reassembled.

2 mana gear
Whenever an alchemy card is played, your hero gains a charge in a random hero ability.

2 mana gear
Whenever a holy card is played, a random ally creature heals 1. If that creature is at fully health, it gains 1hp and regen instead.

2 mana gear
Whenever a mystical card is played, a random ally creature gains manacycle1.

2 mana gear
Whenever a ancient creature is played, a random enemy hero ability losses 1 charge.
